Rebar, aluminum, and a healthy respect for molten metal.
I do rebar work and aluminum casting in my backyard. I've got a propane forge on cinder blocks, a bench vise on a wooden post, and enough tools to make it work. It's raw, hands-on making at its finest.
⚠️ The Aluminum Incident: I once dropped molten aluminum on myself. My Carhartt jacket and Levi jeans saved me from serious burns. Lesson learned: always wear the right gear. Those brands earned a customer for life.
