Automating school spirit with OCR and a Raspberry Pi.
During my senior year, I was Mr. Holt's TA at Atlanta Classical Academy. The middle school runs a house point system (think Harry Potter vibes), and I was in charge of counting house points.
So naturally, I built a machine to do it for me.
The House Point Counter uses OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to automatically read and tally house point scores. It runs on a Raspberry Pi and processes scoring sheets to keep an accurate, real-time count.
